I was so happy to get this product but after only 5 uses, the plastic "grate" on the inside broke. Only 5 uses and it broke. If the "grate" was made of metal the product would be better and last longer. Or if you have soft ice? It would have been good if they provided a replacment as the grate is held on by only 4 screws. As I still need a manual ice crusher, I'll keep looking for one...but one that's made of metal.
