This scale is great....the only problem is that it loves to eat batteries. I replace the batteries at least every 3 weeks (use the scale daily x 3). The scale takes two CR2032 battery which cost on average of $2. Not to much of a big deal, but I feel like I am always changing that darn battery.

Update: I am changing the batteries more frequently. What a waste of money.

ADE Germany is a leading innovator in consumer scales. ADE crosses the line from pure functionality (weighing accurately) to design aesthetics. ADE's expertise is also respected for its hospital and industrial scales. The Slim by ADE, Electronic Kitchen Scale, has a sleek and slick iPod-like look. Slim can be stored upright on a bookshelf or flat in a drawer. Scale weighs dry and liquid ingredients in pounds, fluid ounces or grams, milliliters, in increments of .04-ounces/1 gram. The add 'n weigh (tare) function allows for weighing all ingredients in same container. This compact scale is well suited to weigh letters accurately, or to weigh parcels up to 11-pounds. Weighing surface is made of safety glass. Two sensor-touch buttons, no pressing necessary, just a light touch to operate. 2.25-inch by 1-inch LCD display. Two CR 2043 lithium batteries included.
