At first I thought, "How silly, a docking station, kitchen scale combination." But I don't have a docking station or a scale in my kitchen. I do now and I'm pleased to say that the unit charges my iPod a treat. So now I can listen to my tunes as I do my kitchen chores.
As for the scale part, I've even used that a few times in the last couple weeks. And I'm thinking, if a diet I go on, that I'll be using it a lot more.
The only downside is the speakers don't have all the bass I'd like, but then again, this is a kitchen radio, not a high end stereo. All in all, I've very pleased.
